Square-rings are square cross-section seals designed to be interchangeable with standard AS568 O-Rings. Complete interchangeability within standard glands is assured in most applications.

Available in a wide variety of elastomeric compounds, square-rings are used extensively in many types of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and have gained worldwide acceptance.

Square-rings outperform and outlast o-rings in most static applications, they're less costly than o-rings. Closer cross-sectional tolerances can be held on the square-ring than on most o-rings, and they eliminate parting lines and mold flash.
